- go to google.ca and hit the sign in button at the top right.
- You will then be asked to choose an account. I
- if your Gedu account is not listed you need to click "choose an account"
- enter your user name ([email protected])
- enter your password
- click on your coloured waffle to find google classroom and go to my class
using google classroom
Once students are in the classroom, they will be automatically on the streaming page, where they will see notices from myself or Mrs. Petrie. Please read this page carefully, as there will be several notes posted. To go to assignments, students need to go to the classwork tab. I will be posting assignments by subject area. Once a student has opened a document (generally they will have their own copy), it will be saved to their drive and they do not need to go into google classroom to access it. It can be accessed by going into their drive

Your phone has a built in scanner!
Parents with an iphone or ipad, you actually have a scanner ! If you are planning on scanning any work, you can use the notes app. Open a new note, press the camera button, and the option to scan will pop up. Once the document is scanned you can email it or save it to a google drive.
ZOOM TUTORIAL!
I would like to try hosting some meetings in Zoom, so if you are unfamiliar with this tool, please click on the link below for a quick tutorial. The only part of this video that is important right now , is how to sign up for a free account. Once you have signed up, I will host a meeting and post a link in google classroom for all to access. If you have an account, you should be able to click the link and join my meeting!
